The camps program we give at Doha is so much more than this. Offering definite life experiences through a variety of team building activities, personal challenges and eyeopening moments, our camps programs aim to offer young people an opportunity for growth and development, no matter what their life circumstance. These five day camp experiences produce young people with the opportunity to grow, develop, learn new skills and confront new friends. Every year we hear that Holiday Camp offers the time of your life. The Malmsbury camp provides young people with the opportunity to build skills of resilience, self reliance and team work though participation in activities, workshops, climbing walls and the defy of the adventure course through participation in activities and challenges. Through University Pathways, young people are presented with a world of opportunity through observe and professional careers. Our Cadetship program supports young people through university and onto an employable future. The school offers both junior and senior schools, and students at our school prosper confidence, optimism about their lives and the future, and the opportunity to prepare for work. Our Cadetship program supports young people from difficult life circumstances to complete University and gain the skills for an employable future. Our Cadetship program has been running for over 20 years and in this time we’ve had the privilege of being segment of a life changing experience for over 400 young lives. Every Doha Cadet receives financial assistance, a pliable work placement and mentor with a sponsor company a program of networking and social events, and career guidance from our incredible team. We also have a Professional Development Program that focuses on skills and behaviors for the professional world. Every young person receives: financial support, an annual work placement and a professional development program. Our sponsor companies yield up to eight weeks professional experience for each year of the Cadetship. Our Cadets participate in a Professional Development Program that is offered through a combine of residential and evening activities during the year. Mentors play a very large part of a young person’s development journey. Sometimes one person will mentor throughout, other times companies bear diverse mentors throughout the placement. This figure includes students who have not previously attended a school for many years and other students whose attendance in mainstream schooling was less than 50.
