Recently refurbished possum cottage is a charming, comfortable and secluded hide-away, situated on the quiet side of lake daylesford. We always like to add fresh flowers on occasional tables, suggest local activities to become involved in, a gift of local produce, a weekend paper and personal recommendations for massage or eating out. Operating for over fifteen years our cottage appeals to families, couples and groups of girls up to six. Our interiors are an eclectic MIX of collected and contemporary pieces, our style is somewhere between modern country and shabby chic - not too precious but loads of comfort. Guests can expect ducted heating, air-conditioning, breakfast provisions, all linen, full kitchen facilities, cd player, tv/dvd, two bathrooms and laundry. Possum cottage is only a three minute stroll to the famous central springs area and a ten minute walk into town. Plan to enjoy a sunny breakfast on the bbq deck, there's always plenty of reading material to get lost in, curl up in front of a wood fire in winter or arrange for an in-house mobile massage. Views of wombat hill and the lake are framed by tall gum trees, native birds call our garden home, and a pet kookaburra might be watching as guests find walking tracks below the house. Charmingly many of our guests want to make possum cottage their own, but at this point in our lives we like the idea of sharing a little piece of heaven with as many visitors as possible - you're welcome to join the crowd.
